At Vitafresh Exports, we believe that true success extends beyond business, it’s about making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. That’s why we are proud to partner with SPCA Wellington, supporting their mission to prevent cruelty, promote kindness, and alleviate the suffering of animals in South Africa.
SPCA Wellington’s Legacy
Since 1953, SPCA Wellington has been at the forefront of animal protection, ensuring that animals are treated with dignity and that their rights are safeguarded under South African law. Their longstanding impact inspires us at Vitafresh Exports to do our part in building a more compassionate future.
Hands-On Volunteering
Earlier this year, our Vitafresh Exports team visited the SPCA Wellington shelter for a day of volunteering. From cleaning kennels and assisting with daily operations to spending time with the animals, the experience was both humbling and rewarding. And of course, our team couldn’t resist plenty of puppy cuddles along the way!
Supporting Ongoing Needs
Beyond volunteering, Vitafresh Exports made a financial contribution towards the SPCA’s essential needs, from nutritious food and medical care to shelter upgrades. These resources help create a safe and supportive environment for animals awaiting adoption.
Building Community Connections
Our involvement also extended to the SPCA Wellington Golf Event, where Holly and Dani represented Vitafresh Exports. It was a day filled with sunshine, networking, and fundraising alongside fellow supporters who share our passion for animal welfare.
Strengthening Our Team Through Purpose
This partnership has not only supported the SPCA’s mission but also strengthened Vitafresh Export’s team spirit. By coming together for a cause greater than ourselves, we’ve cultivated a workplace culture rooted in compassion, unity, and shared purpose.
Looking Ahead
At Vitafresh Export, we are excited to continue our partnership with SPCA Wellington. Together, we are committed to supporting their vision of ending animal cruelty in South Africa—and to building a kinder, more compassionate world for animals and people alike.
